Well. After labouring over the computer to diagnose, reformat, and reinstall, we are pretty sure the hard drive partition the OS was on has gone bad. The hard drive itself is half a terabyte and is all of a year old. The other partitions so far look like they might be all right, but we're not sure yet ( Read more... )
